Here's an update from Graeme Knights on the fundraising for Macmillan cancer support from sales of Friends and Companions Sing Vin Garbutt. Thanks to all who have contributed another £578.
I wanted to start the year with some positive news. Well friends I know it's been a while, what with this very strange year we have just had. We didn't have an official launch of the CD and with gigs and festivals being cancelled, I thought it was going to be hard to sell, but you proved me wrong!
After recouping costs, we have managed to raise a total of £1368.00 from the sale of the above mentioned tribute album which has been passed to Macmillan cancer support, and the story continues!You can still buy copies of the album from the SHOP on Vin's website.
This goes to prove that even in this strangest of years, Vin and his music, performed here by his friends still reaches out and touches people's hearts!
On a personal note, I am so happy with how the project has turned out so far and know that gradually as online gigs continue and real gigs/festivals return it will continue to be successful.
