It is with great sadness and extremely heavy hearts that we must inform you that our beloved Vin passed away on Tuesday 6th June 2017, aged 69. He loved the life he shared with you all, and we know how much he'll be missed.
Vin’s funeral will be taking place at Middlesbrough Cathedral, also kn own as St Mary's Cathedral, on Friday 16th June at 12pm, in Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough.
If you are reading this, your life is likely to have been touched by Vin, either through his music, his friendship or his family. All of you who wish to pay your respects are welcome to join us at the cathedral on Friday. We would like to celebrate his life the way he lived it, with open arms.
After the service Vin will be laid to rest at Eston Cemetery, followed by a wake to celebrate his life. It will be family flowers only, however if you would like to make a donation, Vin supported the following charities; Zoe's Place, The British Heart Foundation and Life.
For those who knew Vin and his family, please feel free to bring your instruments and your voices to the wake. All the very best.
