"One of British folk's most popular artists" - The Independent13th June 2017
The Independent newspaper has written in the wake of Vin's death calling him "arguably British folk’s most popular solo artist over the past 30 years". In the paper's obituary of Vin they suggest that he stayed "true to his local roots" and discuss his career which took him to "Australia, New Zealand, Yugoslavia, the United States, Canada, Bermuda, Asia and all over Western Europe".
