Looking for ANDY

I'm looking for a guy named Andy and there's very little to go on. No surname I'm afraid. Andy sent me a poem called "Y" over a decade ago. It was very personal, very beautiful. Some time later Andy wrote to me. He had lost the poem and was desperate to have my copy returned but unfortunately I couldn't find it. TODAY I FOUND IT!  Does anyone out there have any clues to Andy and the poem?
